FULL MOON IN SAGITTARIUS — MAY 31
Sun in Gemini opposite Moon in Sagittarius (Full Moon), loosely conjunct Uranus in Gemini
Mercury in Gemini sextile Chiron in Aries
Venus separating from its square to Saturn and moving toward Jupiter in Cancer
Full Moon in harmonious aspect to Saturn in Aries and loosely Neptune in Aries
Moving away from the Mars/Pluto square
As discussed in my monthly astrological report, this is a massive month for change.
Now, beginning with this Sagittarius Full Moon, we are gaining insight that helps us see the bigger picture.
We are in another straddling moment of time — which seems to be the theme of this year. This month acts as a catalyst for the life changes we have been building toward all year. However, we are still in the midst of the chaos, unable to fully see the other side of it yet.
The end of last week came in heavy with an intense Mars/Pluto square, surfacing power struggles and repressed anger that demanded to be seen. That energy still lingers in the air, though its intensity begins to wane with each passing day.
Following that, Venus square Saturn on May 29 asks us to review our relationships and finances. We are being confronted with the harsh realities of what emotional needs are not being met. Saturn can bring emotional rigidity, distance, and feelings of disconnection or isolation from others.
Then we arrive at this Full Moon, which carries some of the previous week’s energy into a wider perspective. Where last week felt deeply personal and emotionally intense, we may now begin to understand the “why” behind it all.
In astrology, Gemini represents the lower mind — not in the sense of being unintelligent, far from it — but the immediate mind: information, thoughts, surroundings, conversations, and mental stimulation. Sagittarius, its opposing sign, represents the higher mind: the search for meaning, spiritual connection, long-term vision, and where to aim your attention. It burns through the chaos of the monkey mind and seeks spiritual clarity. It reconnects you to the deeper purpose of your journey and reminds you why the path is necessary.
With so much immediate change occurring — especially with Uranus bringing unpredictability and disruption into the mix — it is easy to become consumed by the chaos that transformation inevitably brings. You may have noticed your mind stuck in overthinking, anxiety, or overwhelm.
Sagittarius reminds you that you are in the middle of an adventurous transition. It asks you to aim your arrow toward the distance so you do not lose yourself in the noise of the trickster mind or trickster people along the way.
The antidote to imbalance within a sign is often found in its opposite sign. In this case, this Full Moon arrives at the perfect time to lean into Sagittarius energy to help clear the mind. Where Gemini can become trapped in endless research and mental spiralling, Sagittarius asks you to reconnect to a higher source, calm the mind through meditation, and seek the path of growth and meaning.
This Full Moon asks you to sit with where you are going. Not just this year, or the chaos of tomorrow — but the long-term destination. What steps are placing you on the path toward that future? Even if it requires riding waves of uncertainty and chaos in the immediate moment.
You are not the same person you were before.
The last Full Moon in Scorpio brought us into the depths of our shadows, fears, and attachments. It forced us to confront the inner devil. Now you emerge — perhaps battle weary — but transformed like the phoenix.
Do not allow the past to convince you that the future will repeat itself. You are on a different timeline now, and it will bring entirely different outcomes.
Tarot Card Pull for this Full Moon:

2 of Swords — Peace (Thoth Tarot)
Wow, this card actually fits perfectly. The summary of this card in the Thoth deck is: “A temporary mental truce that allows clarity to emerge.”
In relation to everything discussed above, this Full Moon gives our minds a momentary break from the constant decisions, overthinking, and inner restlessness that can arise during periods of intense change.
My wise elders always tell me, “Don’t make a decision in the midst of chaos.” It is a phrase I have leaned on deeply during times of nervous system dysregulation and emotional overwhelm.
Although this card points to a temporary peace of mind — and suggests that important decisions will eventually need to be made — it also reminds us that clarity rarely comes through force. Sometimes wisdom only emerges once we have sat with something long enough to move beyond fear, emotional reactivity, or mental noise.
With the difficult transits from earlier this week now beginning to move into our rear-view mirror, the emotional overwhelm may start to loosen its grip on our judgment. This creates space for true intuition, balance, and inner knowing to emerge under this Sagittarius Full Moon.
This card reminds us that not every answer needs to arrive immediately. Sometimes peace itself is the message before the next path becomes clear.
Health & Wellness Advice:

Sagittarius rules the liver and the legs in medical astrology, while spiritually it represents the seeker — the part of us longing for meaning, wisdom, expansion, and a deeper understanding of life’s journey.
This Full Moon asks you to reconnect with movement, perspective, and inner clarity.
If you are near mountains or nature, spend time outdoors. Climb, hike, walk, and strengthen your legs — the body part associated with Sagittarius. View the world from above and allow yourself to reconnect with the bigger picture beyond immediate stress or mental overwhelm.
If rest is what your spirit needs, sit in meditation and allow your mind a break from the constant chatter. Give yourself permission to pause, breathe, and create space for peace to emerge.
This is also a powerful time to reflect on your long-term direction. Create a visual — and realistic — map of where you are headed. What is the destination you are moving toward, and what necessary pit stops will help sustain you along the journey?
Sagittarius reminds us that life is not only about reaching the destination, but about becoming wiser through the path that leads us there.

What brings you meaning in your day to day life, and how can you aim to create a life where you live by that meaning?
What is your relationship to spirituality? In what ways can you strengthen your connection to your higher self, and release the need to know it all or have everything figured out in the moment?
In what ways can you bring more adventure into your life?
How have you grown over the past year? Who do you see yourself growing into?
