Welcome to another monthly public figure astrological chart analysis! This month is Taurus season, so we will be exploring the very Venusian queen Audrey Hepburn.
First off, an brief overview of the sign of Taurus. Taurus is the first earth sign of the zodiac, meaning it is most strong in its element, but also hasn’t learned how to fully utilize it yet in a collective way. Where Virgo uses the earthly element to help physically heal or help others or Capricorn uses the earthly element to physically build structures or hierarchies, Taurus loves to just bath in the element of Earth itself.
Taurus is ruled by the planet Venus, the planet of beauty, peace, love, finances, and art. Venus is associated with the Goddess Aphrodite — the Goddess of love, beauty, and fertility. It probably goes without saying that the planet Venus embodies the ultimate feminine archetype — where the Moon is more associated with the Yin side of ourselves, our inner self, and how we nurture, Venus is more associated with typical feminine themes that our society dictates as feminine — example: the colour pink, girly scents, aesthetics, jewelry, glamour, fashion, luxury, flowers, ect.
Taurus is a fixed sign, which means the dates of Taurus season happen in the middle of a season (in this case Spring). Fixed signs often embody the element in a more fixed way — example: as a fixed earth sign, you bath in the element of earth. Earth itself can be associated with stagnation in medical astrology or using ancient health systems like Chinese medicine or the greek humours. This coincides with the symbol of Taurus being that of “the bull”, likes to stay stationary, very hard to move, but can attack if cornered or pushed to it. This means many Taurus people have the reputation for being quite “stubborn”. They are creatures of habit, they like what they like and nobody will tell them otherwise.
There are. few ways the Taurus archetype show up, sometimes it is a mix of all of them or someone leans heavily into one of them. One way is the fashion goddess, the one who has strong aesthetics, dresses to the nine everyday, always clean and takes care of their body and image, and into luxury items. Then there is the earthly goddess, the one who you can always find in the garden planting flowers and fresh vegetables, always cooks the most delicious and elegant meals, loves to spend all their time in nature with their feet in the soil, and spends their time in nature to just be present. The last archetype is the finance woman, the boss girl — she is likely dressed in very simple but put together business attire, always good with her finances, and talks/cares a lot about making money and buying material things. Of coarse males are Taurus as well, but using the feminine as an archetype to describe Taurus — but this would show up the same just through a male lens. The biggest thing you will see with a Taurus, is that they aren’t in any sort of hurry. They move slow, but it is because they are intentional and are incredibly present in the moment. They love to indulge in all 5 of their scenses, their taste, touch, smells, sights, and hearing wherever they go.
Audrey Hepburn falls in more of the fashion Goddess archetype of Venus. We will get more into why that is below.

AUDREY HEPBURN life story
Audrey Hepburn was born between 1929-1993 in Brussels Belgium with a Dutch baroness mother and a British father. She had a very tulmultuous start to life in her childhood, with both her father being a Nazi, mother supporting Hitler, and her father abandoning the family at age 6. She was moved between Belgium, England, and the Netherlands and ended up living in Nazi occupied Arnhem, Netherlands with her mother in 1940 (age 11). She had to go under a different name as she had British roots that was dangerous at the time, witnessed many deportations of Dutch Jews, and went through her uncle being executed at age 13. During the famine in 1944 (age 15), she went through severe illness (anemia and edema) due to lack of nutrition. She showed her support of the Dutch resistance by performing ballet to raise money for the Dutch resistance.
After the Dutch liberation, she moved to London (1949) where she wanted to pursue professional ballet and modelling. She began acting in 1951 in minor roles and eventually landed the famous “Roman Holiday” movie in 1953 where she became the first actress to win an Academy Awards, and many other prestigious acting awards. During this time she was becoming a fashion icon, where she coined the trend of capris pants, ballet flats, and a little black dress.
In the 1960s, she reached milestones in her career with films like “Breakfast at Tiffanys”, and once she hit a certain peak within her career, she began shifting herself towards humanitarian pursuits. In 1980, she became a major advocate for raising awareness of child hunger and poverty in undeveloped countries, which eventually led her to receive the “Presidential Medal of Freedom” award in 1992 (year before she passed).
She wasn’t big on the chaos of Hollywood, so she actually lived in Switzerland from 1963 up until her death in 1993, preferring the quiet and peace. She had 2 marriages and her first son with her first marriage. Her final relationship was the one she deemed as the “love of her life” and they were together from 1980-1993 up until her passing.

Her Astrological Natal Chart
Audreys natal chart instantly makes sense in regards to her life story. Right away we see her Sun conjunct Chiron, and loosely conjunct Jupiter and the North Node in the 2nd house of income, stability, finances, and self worth in Taurus. With Chiron being so close to her Sun, this shows there was deep wounding in relation to these themes — but with being sextile to Pluto in the 5th house of creativity, confidence, passion, and children in the sign of Cancer, she was able to transform her wounds into power, while also using the power as a sense of nurture (think the children she advocated for). The wounding obviously being around the sense of lack she felt during the World War 2 times and her father abandoning her and her mother during an incredibly fearful and destabilizing time. But with Jupiter (planet of abundance and luck) and North Node (soul destiny) also being in that same house with her Sun sign and Chiron, this further shows she has the capacity, luck, and destiny on her side to overcome this wound and reshape her relationship to income, stability, finance, and self worth.
Her Moon sign being in Pisces 1st house, shows an incredibly compassionate and almost self sacrificing individual. As the Moon sign has to do with the Mother, it shows that she likely gained her compassion through her Mother, however she may have inherited the “rose coloured glasses” theme as well. It wouldn’t surprise me that the relationship with her mother may have been complicated, or her mother may have been very distant with emotions as Pisces creates a fog or an absence of some kind. With the opposition of Neptune in Leo (be it loose) and the square to Mercury at 0 degrees Gemini, I wonder if the aristocratic upbringing of her mother may have been what confused her mother in terms of originally supporting the Nazi regime. The belief system seems to have been quite skewed, because Moon in pisces making square to Mercury in gemini, that to me shows emotions and logic being complicated and confusing.
Her IC (roots line) is in gemini, which points to her constant moving around during childhood and likely being told how things are, rather than her discovering it herself. With her MC (life path) through Sagittarius, she aims to understand the workings of the world through a more philosphical/spiritual way. She rises above the mundane gossip and chatter and more into what is life actually about? This also shows that her career path came to her quite easily as Sagittarius is ruled by Jupiter and that brings a lot of luck and abundance in that area. However, Saturn (planet of hardship and delays) is at 0 degrees in her 10th house of career in Capricorn. This points to the fact that she has to go through some sort of struggle to then become who she became, but once she overcame the struggle and kept going consistently (like a mountain goat), she began to get offers and opportunities from her Sagittarius MC line.
Her aquarius (the peoples sign) ascendant and having Uranus in the first house Aries, points towards her love for activism and humanitarian efforts. That, alongside Mars in Cancer and Neptune in Leo in the 6th house of service and day to day work to others, shows that she fights and has compassion for children.
Her Venus (planet of love, peace, relationships, the feminine, and finances) are in Aries (sign of conflict and go getter energy) in her first house. To me this points towards how she became such a sudden and daring feminine icon. She blew up so quickly and was daring in the way that she was the lead inspiration amongst woman for fashion (very Venusian). This may also point towards her 2 divorces, as Venus in Aries is a very “don’t fuck with me” placement. In relationships, she likely is someone who goes all in but also won’t compromise if it means losing herself.
So although there are some incredibly compassionate placements, there is also a lot of resilient and freedom fighting placements. She was not only just a fashion icon and actress, she overcame deep wounds relating to her stability, grew into becoming a confident and feminine public figure, while also fighting for injustices that she likely felt deeply during her childhood trauma.
There is a lot more to unpack in this chart, however I shall leave it here for today. Remember, I do these monthly for every astrological sign we are moving through. If you have a particular public figure that you would like me to analyze for Gemini season, reach out!
