Growth, Expansion, and Luck Move Forward Again.
Jupiter has been retrograde in Cancer since November 11th. When a planet goes retrograde, the energy of that planet works inward rather than outward. With Jupiter in Cancer, this manifests as growing and expanding our inner home and security.
You may have been forced to look at what you need internally to grow and expand where you are, rather than relying on external foundations.
Themes around what makes you emotionally secure, what your connection to family or ancestral heritage looks like, and/or what deeply nourishes you — these themes were upfront and centre.
This time period could have made you insecure if you weren’t nourishing your emotional state. But the gift was to sit with it and understand what you need to create a strong inner foundation and inner home that can go with you wherever you are.
On a Macro scale:
As Cancer represents countries, national identities, protection of home, and our collective emotions, this time period has had many people go inward and discuss amongst each other the issue in regard to wars (whether a country should defend or not involve itself) and the topic of immigration. Many people are trying to decide what their identity is within their country of origin.
With Jupiter going direct:
The work we did in our inner world and the emotional security we created for ourselves, will now be what helps to project us forward. We found what we need to nourish our emotional selves and to now integrate that where we are or where we feel we need to be. We can finally work to root ourselves so that we can work on our outer growth.
And this will prepare us for when Jupiter moves into Leo this summer.
Once Jupiter moves into Leo, we will expand ourselves in our self expression, creativity, love/passion, play, and sense of joy. With a proper rooted foundation, we can feel stable enough to grow our confidence and let ourselves shine bright.
Don’t feel like you need to jump into expanding yourselves outward right away. Let the retrograde move out of its shadow period. Know that you have another couple of months to outwardly integrate what got stirred up internally these last few months.
